SACOP Education Assistance Program (SEAP) was started in 1996 helping graduating college students from families severely affected and uprooted by the series of devastations brought about by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. The program provides tuition and school fees, and allowances. For their part, the students maintain an average grade of 85% with passing grade in all subjects enrolled in.
Since its inception, the program has already produced 324 graduates of engineering, accounting, social work, education, information technology, architecture, fine arts, tourism, hotel and restaurant management and technical courses in computer technology and welding.
For the SY 2017-2018, the program assists 162 college students and 25 vocational-technical students enrolled under the two-year dual training system of education (combination of classroom instruction and in-plant training).
